Tonebloom Privacy Policy
This policy explains how 제이소프트 ("we") handles information in the Tonebloom app (the "app").
1. Summary
- Your voice recordings and their analysis stay on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. We cannot see or hear your recordings.
- The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process device information such as your advertising ID.
- There is no account. We do not collect your name, phone number or email address.
2. Information that stays on your device
| Data | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Voice recordings (WAV) | Playback and comparison with earlier takes | Latest 30 kept on the device; older ones deleted automatically |
| Analysis results (pitch, loudness, voice quality measures) | Showing results, history and progress charts | On the device |
| Practice progress (streaks, badges) and settings (language, comparison range) | Tracking your practice | On the device |
All analysis happens on your device. You can delete this data at any time under Settings → Delete all practices / Reset progress, and it is removed when you uninstall the app. It is excluded from device backups on Android.
Microphone access is used only while you are recording. If you decline it, only recording is unavailable.
The app's measurements are practice guides for speaking, not a medical diagnosis or treatment.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads through AdMob, operated by Google LLC. To serve ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, AdMob may automatically process:
- Advertising identifiers (Android advertising ID, iOS IDFA) and device information such as model and OS
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Interactions with ads, such as impressions and clicks
Recordings and analysis results are never shared with the advertising SDK.
If you consent, you see personalized ads; otherwise you see limited or non-personalized ads. Where consent is required you are asked on first launch, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices. On iOS you are also asked for App Tracking Transparency permission, which you can change in the device settings. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings.
How Google uses data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, Google Privacy Policy.
4. International transfer
The advertising data in section 3 is sent to Google LLC in the United States and other countries where Google operates, when the app requests an ad, for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention, and is retained under Google's policies. You can avoid personalized use by declining consent or deleting your advertising ID; minimal data needed to request an ad (such as the IP address) may still be sent.
5. In-app purchases
The remove-ads purchase is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your payment details; only whether you purchased is stored on the device.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in Korea), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Your choices and rights
You can view and delete the data on your device directly in the app. Because we do not hold it, we cannot access or delete it for you. For advertising data, use the ad settings above and Google's controls. For anything else, contact us below. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law) you may have additional rights, which you can exercise by contacting us or Google.
